Department for Programme and Project Preparation and Implementation

The Department is responsible for the preparation and/or implementation of programmes and/or projects for public bodies and public institutions from the Varazdin County area, emphasizing on development programmes and projects of strategic significance for the Varazdin County area and the Republic of Croatia.

In the aforementioned tasks, the Department employees closely cooperate with representatives of public bodies and public institutions as well as with all other stakeholders during all phases of preparation and/or implementation of projects and/or programmes.

In the area of project and programme preparation, great emphasis is placed on cooperation from the very design of the project idea or the scope of the programme, elaboration of the project task, coordination of all stakeholders relevant to the preparation of the project proposal or programme, collection of necessary information and all the way to the creation of the project application or the programme itself.

Task related to the implementation include advising public bodies and public institutions from the Varazdin County region in the process of implementation of projects and/or programmes; coordination of project and/or programme activities and cooperation with various teams involved in the implementation of programmes and/or projects; communication and coordination with responsible institutions; providing support related to administrative tasks of project and programme implementation, etc.

The Department also collects information on the needs of various bodies and stakeholders related to projects and programmes at the Varazdin County level and regularly informs public bodies and public institutions from the Varaždin County region about the prospects of financing projects, the needs of programme development as well as changes in the field of preparation and implementation of programmes and projects.

Furthermore, the Department also implements and coordinates activities related to informing and counselling for users of JURA services, organisation of presentations, seminars, round tables, conferences and other events closely related to the field of preparation and implementation of programmes and projects.
